Chambers award ceremonies bring together the best lawyers from all regions of the world to celebrate excellence in the legal profession.
The Women in Law awards represent the culmination of a year-long research and also celebrate those who promote gender equality and grant equal opportunities to women throughout Latin America.
This year, the ceremony took place at The Ritz-Carlton, in Santiago, Chile, on Thursday, May 10, 2018. The event was sponsored by BKM – Berkemeyer from Paraguay.
At the ceremony, those pioneers who have furthered the advancement of women within the legal sphere were recognized. The Awards seek to highlight these achievements, empower the people behind innovative initiatives of women and give greater visibility to gender diversity.
BKM Berkemeyer was the only Paraguayan firm nominated as a recognition to the initiative for «Promoting gender diversity within Law Firms», award received at the aforementioned event by the attorneys representing the Firm on said event; Yolanda Pereira and Barbara Dollstadt.
