The Executive Branch issued Decree No. 5562/21 whereby the increase of 4.4% on the minimum wage is made official, effective July 1, 2021. As a result of this increase, the daily wage rose to PYG 88.051, and the minimum wage was set to PYG 2.289.324. The increase PYG 96.485 more per month compared to the previous minimum wage.
The measure is based on the report of the National Council of Minimum Wages (Conasam), issued by the Ministry of Work, Employment and Social Security (MTESS), recommending a readjustment in the minimum wages of workers throughout the country.
In short, the following are the figures for monthly minimum wage and daily wage as of July 1, 2021:

Minimum daily wage: PYG 88.051
