The Government’s Executive issued on October 21, 2009 the Decree No. 3216 by which " THE USE OF SODIUM TRIPOLYPHOSPHATE IN DETERSIVES THROUGHOUT THE NATIONAL TERRITORY IS PROHIBITED, AND ORDERS THE MINISTRY OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND SOCIAL WELFARE AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL SECRETARIAT (SEAM) TO EXERT CONTROLS OVER THE SAME".

Requirements for Personal Hygiene Products Import and Commercialization

The Government´s Executive issued on October 21, 2009 the Decree No. 3214 by which "IT IS ESTABLISHED AS A REQUIREMENT FOR IMPORT AND COMMERCIALIZATION OF PERSONAL HYGIENE PRODUCTS, COSMETICS, PERFUMES AND DOMISANITARIES OF RISK I AND II A PRIOR IMPORT LICENSE TO BE ISSUED BY THE MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE AND IT IS HEREBY ESTABLISHED THE VALIDITY OF FEES REGULATED BY DECREE No. 1738/2009”.
